Peter Singer at Brown
Peter Singer is one of the most prominent and influential living philosophers, and the leading academic on the topic of animal ethics. He is the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics in the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University.
We are preparing to bring Professor Singer to Brown for a major speaking event on Tuesday, November 3. If you are interested in helping support or plan the event, please contact adam_hoffman@brown.edu

The Conversation Continues
The Animal Liberation Project exhibit has moved on from Brown, leaving lots of great discussion in its wake. Adding to the conversation is Robert Black's thoughtful letter in the Brown Daily Herald:
Letter: Animals are people, too
(titled "Animals just might be people, too" as submitted)
A big thanks to Adrianne and Courtney from peta2, and everyone else who helped with the exhibit or stopped by for a chat!
